2013 Accord Engine Options

    Standard in most front-wheel-drive Accord models is a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine. Horsepower comes in around 185 along with 181 pounds-per-foot of torque, while the Sport model's dual exhaust gives an extra bump to 189 horsepower and 182 pounds-per-foot of torque. The four-cylinder LX, Sport, and EX sedan trims as well as the LX-S and EX coupes come standard with a six-speed manual transmission. Also available on all four-cylinder models and standard on the sedan and coupe EX-L trim is Honda's newly developed CVT with an estimated 27 MPG city/36 MPG highway*. A six-speed manual transmission paired with the four-cylinder transmission gets around 24 MPG city and 34 MPG highway while the Sport trim's slightly more powerful engine returns 26 city/35 highway*. The upgraded 3.5-liter V6 option delivers 278 horsepower and 252 pounds per foot of torque when coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission, as well as 21 MPG city and 34 MPG highway*. The 2013 Accord EX-L coupe's combination of a V6 engine and six-speed manual transmission delivers 18 MPG city/28 MPG highway*. Antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, active front head restraints, front seat side airbags and side curtain airbags are all standard safety features on the 2013 Honda Accord. Upper trim levels offer the options of blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure, and forward-collision warning systems.

2013 Accord Available Trims & Optional Features

     Four-cylinder engine sedan models are available in LX, new for 2013 Sport, EX, EX-L and EX-L with Navigation trims. EX, EX-L and EX with Navigation trims are offered for V6 models. Coupes are available with LX-S, EX, EX-L or EX-L with Navigation, and V6 coupes are available with either EX-L or EX-L with Navigation. Standard on the entry-level LX are 16-inch alloy wheels, full power accessories, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, both audio and phone Bluetooth connection, a tilt-and telescoping steering wheel, a rearview camera, an eight-inch video display, a folding rear seat, a height-adjustable manual driver's seat and a four-speaker sound system including a CD player, an iPod/USB interface, an auxiliary input jack, and Pandora functionality. Horsepower, 18-inch wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel including CVT shift paddles, an eight-way power driver's seat with power lumbar support and a rear spoiler are featured in the new Sport trim level. Features on the EX include 17-inch wheels, a sunroof, keyless entry and ignition, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated mirrors, a six-speaker sound system, a power driver's seat, and Honda's new LaneWatch blind-spot monitoring display. The EX-L adds leather upholstery, driver's seat memory functions, a four-way power passenger's seat, smartphone app integration via HondaLink, forward-collision and lane-departure warning systems, an upgraded rearview camera, satellite radio along with a seven-speaker premium sound system, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. A navigation system with voice recognition is added for the EX-L with Navigation trim. A V6-exclusive Touring trim includes all amenities of the EX-L trim along with LED headlamps and adaptive cruise control. The coupe-available LX-S models the sedan's LX trim.
